Microsoft Office Office 2007 (codenamed Office 12) is a version of Microsoft Office , a group of office packages and efficiency application for Microsoft windows, designed and published by Microsoft Office. It was released to volume license clients on Nov 30, 2006 and to retail clients on Jan 30, 2007, the same respective release dates of Microsoft windows Windows vista. It was beat by Office 2003 and succeeded by Office 2010.
Office 2007 introduced a new gui called the Proficient Customer User interface which uses lace and a Office start selection instead of selection bars and tool bars. Office 2007 requires Microsoft windows XP with Support Package 2 or greater, Microsoft windows Server 2003 with Support Package 1 or greater, Microsoft windows Windows vista or Microsoft windows seven. Office 2007 is the last version of Microsoft Office Office to support Microsoft windows XP Professional x64 Edition.
Office 2007 includes new programs and server-side tools, including Microsoft Office Pattern, a cooperation and communication suite for business owners, which was initially designed by Pattern Networks before being acquired by Microsoft Office in 2005. Also involved is Office SharePoint Server 2007, a major modification to the server platform for Office programs, which supports Succeed Services, a client-server structure for supporting Succeed workbooks that are shared immediately between multiple machines, and are also readable and editable through a web page.
